Key Responsibilities of HR Ops at FabHotels
As an HR Ops professional, you will play a pivotal role in streamlining HR processes and ensuring employee satisfaction. Below are some of your key responsibilities:
1. Employee Onboarding & Documentation Management
- Oversee the joining formalities of new hires, ensuring that all necessary documentation is completed.
- Issue essential documents such as appointment letters, ID cards, confirmations, transfer letters, and No Objection Certificates (NOCs).
- Ensure a smooth induction process so that new employees understand HR policies from Day 1.
2. Attendance & Payroll Management
- Maintain and regularly audit employee attendance records to ensure compliance.
- Assist in payroll processing by compiling and consolidating attendance data.
- Address salary-related queries for both existing and former employees in a timely manner.
3. Exit Management & Full & Final Settlements
- Manage the exit formalities for employees, ensuring a smooth transition.
- Handle the full and final settlement process efficiently.
- Issue relevant documents such as experience letters and relieving letters to departing employees.
4. HRMS & Compliance Management
- Maintain and update HRMS data for seamless employee record management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations.
- Identify employee grievances and resolve them in a fair and timely manner.
5. Employee Engagement & Performance Management
- Plan and execute employee engagement activities to boost workplace morale.
- Conduct one-on-one discussions, exit interviews, and pulse checks with employees to assess job satisfaction.
- Manage the performance appraisal cycle (PMS) end-to-end, ensuring a fair evaluation process.
6. HR Policy Creation & Implementation
- Draft HR policies as needed to align with company objectives and legal requirements.
- Educate employees about HR policies and ensure compliance across all levels.
What We’re Looking for in the Ideal Candidate
To succeed in this role, you should be a proactive, detail-oriented, and problem-solving professional with a strong understanding of HR operations. Below are the key qualifications we are looking for:
Education: Graduate / MBA in Human Resources
Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in HR operations
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.) and Word
- Experience working on HRMS platforms
- ✅ Soft Skills:
- Strong communication and English writing skills
- Excellent problem-solving ability and attention to detail
- A deep understanding of HR policies and operating environments
- ✅ Preferred Experience:
- Candidates who have worked in early-stage startups will have an advantage
- Prior experience in HR business partnering is a plus
